Hello! I’m Melynda Schutte, a passionate Travel Specialist with BWD Travel since December 2018. My love for travel began with my very first trip to Disney World at age 15—and it’s only grown since! Not long after starting with BWD, I planned my own destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, which sparked an even deeper appreciation for creating unforgettable travel experiences for others.
💙 A Little About Me
I grew up—and still live—in Tekamah, Nebraska, where I’m raising my family. I began my career as a dental assistant, spending 15 years in dentistry before realizing it was time for a new adventure. Between the long commute to Omaha and limited vacation time, I knew I needed a change that aligned with my passion for travel.
For three years, I planned trips on the side before taking a leap of faith to pursue travel full-time. Over the past four years, I’ve built a rewarding career helping clients plan their dream vacations—and I couldn’t be more grateful for their continued trust and support. My career allows me to spend more time with my husband, our four children, and our beautiful granddaughter ❤️—and, of course, to explore the world!
